Delivery & Returns
Blue Salt is a small company run by 2 enthusiastic but very busy individuals with families attached. We will do our best to get your order to you as fast as possible. If the weather is warm and sunny it might take a bit longer as we are probably on the water working (testing the next Blue Salt boards)…Please feel free to contact us via email or phone for any queries, or if you are passing through beautiful Devon, pop down to our waterside location on the Exeter Quay and collect your board here.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Our boards have a 3 year warranty against manufacturers faults, so if your board isn’t up to scratch and you think it is due to a fault from the factory, please ring us and we will do our best to fix it. We might ask you to send some pictures first and maybe drop it to us in Exeter or send it over…
We will not be able to replace or repair your board for free if it hasn’t been treated with the necessary care. Please make sure you always follow our “how to keep your Blue Salt Sup intact & looking good instructions” but just get in touch anyway if somethings gone wrong…
If your board is older than three years and something goes wrong, do not worry we know accidents happen when you are having fun, we will still try to help as much as we can so just get in touch via email or give us a ring.
BlueSalt SUP warrants each SUP product to be free from major defects in material or workmanship to the original purchaser for a period of one 3 years from the date of purchase, subject to the following limitations:
- Your warranty will be voided if you puncture your board.
- Blemishes and imperfections will only be credited on your board when reported before the first use. Please inspect your board and report any issues to us before use that way we can get things fixed or replaced very quickly.
- If you find a warranty issue with your board, report it to us immediately and do not use the board until your issue has been resolved. We will endeavour to do this as quick as possible.
- The warranty is only valid when this product is used for normal recreational activities and does not cover products used in rental or school operations.
- BlueSalt SUP will make any and all final warranty decisions, which may require us to inspect the SUP and / or photos of the equipment which show the defects. in question.
- Products may only be returned with a returns authorisation supplied in advance by BlueSalt SUP or an authorised BlueSalt SUP rep.
- If a product is deemed to be defective by BlueSalt SUP, the warranty covers the repair or replacement of the defective product only and is done solely at our discretion.
- The warranty does not entitle you to a new replacement product if we deem that it can be suitably repaired.
- BlueSalt SUP will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss or use of this product.
- The product must not be fitted with a motor.
- The product must not be used in excess of the manufacturers recommended load capacity or environments.
- The warranty is void if any unauthorised repair, change or modification has been made to any part of the equipment.
- The warranty for any repaired or replaced equipment is good from the date of original purchase only.
- The original purchase receipt /email must accompany all warranty claims. The date and location of purchase must be clear and legible.
The warranty does not cover the following / damage caused by the following:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse
- Abuse
- Neglect
- User error
- Punctures - however we can assist in the repairs for you
- Failure to follow the guidance provided by BlueSalt SUP
- Failure to properly clean and dry your board and all accessories after each us
- Leaking air valves (Unless all efforts have been made to tighten the valve in accordance with our instructions)
- Storage of the board while inflated
- Improper customer repairs, alterations or tampering
- Excessive heat exposure
- Improper handling or storage
- Intentional breakages
- Damage caused by anything other than defects in materials and workmanship
Due to the nature of the sport, accessories such as, but not limited to, paddles, leashes or seats are not covered under this warranty.
There are no warranties that extend beyond the warranty specified here. The product is designed in accordance with standards for a specific use. Any modifications or transformations higher than indicated by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
